Honda and DCT Dual Clutch Transmission motorcycle

Honda has developed a motorcycle gearbox with automatic clutch that offers the same driving enjoyment than manual transmission.

Completely different from the CVT transmissions used by most scooters, the Dual Clutch Transmission is based structurally on a conventional 6-speed box now electronically controlled clutch operations and change.

Thus both the D and S Dual Clutch Transmission mode also allows immediate manual intervention if required. The driver can simply select the required gear using the MT mode buttons, after which in the system continue to operate as an automatic transmission.
