Honda NC750X DCT test 2016: every day an adventure

Honda renews its medium model asphalt trail with cosmetic changes, more load carrying capacity, refining DCT change, better suspension and a picture of customizable LCD instruments. A more attractive and more features on a motorcycle for everything and everyone.

Since its birth in 2012 this asphalt trail has remained in the "top ten" most of the bikes sold in Europe. The reasons for its success are clear: an engine with a good performance, comfortable driving position, low consumption, good performance of the suspensions, a compartment for a helmet in the false deposit and DCT exclusive Honda (transmission double clutch). A combination that has achieved a very practical and versatile bike, valid for the card A2, a great ally for both urban use in your everyday life, for departures weekend for your roads favorite curves, or your getaways more adventurous.

In 2014 receives its first restyling, increasing its displacement in winning power and torque (54.8 hp at 6,250 rpm and 68 Nm at 4,750 rpm), a second balance shaft reduces vibration, a new silent adapted to its new engine, ABS as standard, more cushioned seat, lower consumption, adjustable brake lever, instrument panel with more information and software update DCT system.

The driving position is very upright and natural and the seat is not too high, allowing good control at low speeds even if like me are standard size. The handlebars and controls are at a comfortable height and at a glance see all the information in your dashboard, but it would be better than some of its functions could be enabled and / or change from pineapples and not from the box to avoid let go of the handlebars once you're underway. Its low center of gravity and good turning radius make it very agile and manageable city. I was interspersing the different driving modes both manual and automated, choosing the S in level 3 when we arrived at the most twisty roads of Malaga in which Honda had called us for the international presentation of the new models. For this type of road and if you want to go at a pace a bit cheerful this level was really surprising.

The suspensions have also been revised. At the front Showa fork features a new Dual Bending Valves (SDBV), a system that quickly adapts to the conditions of the road with a firm and progressive response, increasing braking stability. The rear shock now comes with preload adjustment for better bump absorption and greater comfort. A front 320 mm with two-piston caliper disc with a rear 240mm and piston calliper are sufficient to stop the NC750X, even if someday go "to a note" You can miss a little more power. It features standard with ABS, plus extra security that could test and verify that comes into operation only when you must.

Additionally, if you need some of the motorcycles parts, you could purchase at Banggood, which is one of the wholesale platform to provide you the low prices. Such as, motorcycle pant clips, motorized bicycle carburetor, etc.
