Kawasaki ZX10R in 2016 can lock the steering

If you are the owner of a brand new 2016 Kawasaki ZX10R Kawasaki it is very likely that Spain already has contacted you to take her to review. The new generation of Japanese Superbike faces his first call to review the units whose frame number are between JKAZXT00SSA000251 and JKAZXT00SSA002320. Supposedly are those manufactured before January 18 of this year.

Where is the problem? Seems to fastening bolts of the steering damper support have been tightened more during the manufacture of these units. This may cause one or both bolts to break and thus interfere with the operation of the shock absorber direction, causing a blockage which may lead to an accident.

Once detected the problem, Kawasaki has launched a safety campaign which basically consists of replacing the existing bolts with new ones. The time it will take this operation in the official dealer of the house will be about 15 minutes. Obviously this operation will be done at no cost to the client beyond time to lose on taking the workshop.

It is the only new generation Superbike manufacturing problems, as the Yamaha YZF-R1 2015 also has had to go through the workshop.

Additionally, if you need some of the motorcycles accessories, such as, motorcycle tank stickers, diy motorcycle phone mount, etc. Anything you need you could purchase at Banggood, one of the wholesale platform which provides you the low prices.
