We tested the camera action Gitup GIT2

As you recall, last year we did a review of the Xiaomi action camera, the model 'Yi'. Time has passed and many competitors have appeared in the audiovisual landscape, trying to beat her privileged position he had been placed its users more than satisfied. Among all these new cameras there is one that stands out with very good features and outstanding quality. This is the GitUp Git 2 model, which, after having thoroughly tested, we will proceed to analyze evaluating the pros and cons we found.

After waiting 20 days rigor we arrived by mail in the Pro version, which includes lots of accessories such as waterproof housing to record into the water up to 30m and multiple mounts to hold wherever they choose. The camera, nothing to hold it in their hands gives a very good, robust and sense of quality plastic materials that exude quality (within the price range in which it moves, that is).

The first thing that stands out is the inclusion of a 1.5-inch LDC screen where we can see what we are focusing, in addition to fully configure all camera settings. This is one of the strengths compared to Yi.

Notably Xiaomi Yi shares with a Sony Exmor 16MP sensor that gives images that captures a very good quality, being able to capture video at 24fps 2K and 1080p 60FPS.

One of the major races that has over other cameras action is having a hardware image stabilization GYRO, with the help of a gyroscope which analyzes camera movement and counteracts the recorded video file. In practice the results are amazing and have this mode enabled only slightly decreases the margins of the captured image, so it hardly affects the final result.

Another interesting option is that you can attach an external microphone, higher quality integrated via the USB port included.

The other notable features are the quick recording mode that allows us to start recording without delay using a button, the AV output or support for photos in RAW format.

The quality of this camera GIT2 action is very good, especially when shooting movies, although its photo mode does not "too bad". Dark recording the worst of it, but compared to other cameras style is the most decent we've seen.

In each of the ways we can configure many options from the rear screen, which is appreciated because, again, you have many settings: resolution, white balance, shutter speed, time lapse mode, drive mode, color image, dynamic range, slow motion, sharpness, motion sensor, microphone sensitivity ...

Let's talk about connectivity with our iPhone camera. To say, as drawback, which Gitup is right now developing a native application for iPhone and therefore it need to connect generic applications that connect to all cameras with Novatek Chipset (in this case the NTK96660).

In the App Store we can find two that do an excellent job, controlling all parameters via the wireless access point the camera itself generates. This is the FNCam Apps and Final Cam. From any of these applications we can remotely trigger the camera and import photos and videos made our Gallery iPhone.

At last, I wanna give you another good choice of SQ8 Camera. This is one kind of excellent one and I think you will love it!
