Bultaco Linx: The first beast with steering wheel of the manufacturer after his rebirth will have up to 400 CV

This week has taken place in Milan the EICMA 2016 and among its many novelties there is one that has called our attention especially for its peculiarity. As you well know, the Spanish brand Bultaco is dedicated exclusively to electric motorcycles and e-Bikes after its recent rebirth 32 years after bankruptcy, or well, maybe I should say that was dedicated, because during the Italian meeting we were surprised with nothing less Than its new four-wheel division: Bultaco Cars.

Dubbed Bultaco Linx and with clear reminiscences to the KTM X-Bow, this sporty two-seater has a minimal frame and a central engine that develops no less than 400 hp of power to raze in the track days. Curiously, it is not only the first vehicle with a steering wheel in the history of this legendary Spanish firm, but it is also the only model with gasoline engine of the range.

On an aluminum chassis with detachable front and rear subframe, Bultaco has created a composite body whose dimensions amount to 3.975 mm in length, 1,965 mm in width and a wheelbase of 2,520 mm, thus placing the Linx to the height of others Vehicles of its category like the Ariel Atom, KTM X-Bow, Honda Project 2 & 4, Yamaha Sports Ride and BAC Mono. It is clear that with 400 hp in its entrails and a not inconsiderable weight of only 850 kilograms - with all liquids and the driver -, the Bultaco Linx will be a complete beast on the route.

Most striking of all is that this two-seater radical inherits the traditional internal combustion mechanics of the Seat Leon Cupra, a super-powered 2.0-liter four-cylinder block associated with a 6-speed DSG sequential gearshift that, according to the manufacturer, A power to customers to choose from various options in the range of 300-400 hp to enjoy in the open air pure sportiness, passion and fun.

With a weight / power ratio of almost 2 kg / hp, the Bultaco Linx, which inherits its name from the Iberian lynx, promises acceleration up to 100 km / h from standing in only 3.7 seconds and a self-limited maximum speed of 280 km / H. Not bad for a vehicle whose aspirations go through an abundance of power to offer speed, agility, dynamism and freedom in driving.

And so important is to accelerate and slow down, so the Linx has been fitted with Alcon-GALFER disc brakes with six-piston calipers and 326 mm ventilated discs for both axles. Unfortunately, we will not see it until the end of next year and its price will be somewhat higher than 100,000 euros.

Additionally, if you need to purchase some car gadgets, you can search via Banggood website, which is one of the wholesale platform to provide affordable prices, such as backlight car clock, auto emergency tool with digital tire gauge, etc.
