KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE R at the Goodwood Festival

If there is one word that defines this prototype of KTM is: impressive. So far only photos or videos of the 1290 Super Duke R have been seen, but that will change, at the Goodwood Festival you can see live action on this KTM with Jeremy Mc Williams at their controls. This festival will take place from the 12th to the 14th of July.

This prototype was presented at the last EICMA hall in Milan in November 2012, where KTM engineers and designers demonstrated their skill and imagination. Logically, being a prototype, its creators did not have to comply with the standards of homologation.

The development of the motorcycle began by further enhancing the engine of the RC8 R, around which a minimalist chassis was configured in steel tubes, complemented with a monobrazo swingarm, high-end experimental WP suspension components, light tires and tires and Racing brakes.

As we have already said, former MotoGP rider Jeremy McWilliams will try to tame this beast during the nine curves that make up the Hillclimb track of 1.16 miles from Goodwood. This festival is acclaimed by motor lovers, it combines in one weekend the best cars, motorcycles and stars of the motor world.

Additionally, if you need to purchase some motorcycle gadgets, you can search via Banggood website, which is one of the wholesale platform to provide affordable prices, such as motorcycle voltage gauge, charger socket, electronic flasher relay, etc.
