In the last we have been talking about the new Skoda Octavia in all its configurations of body, from the conventional to the RS, passing today for the images of the Scout. Now we can confirm the full offer of engines.
According to the market in which it is marketed, the Octavia 2017 will start with the 1.2 TSI block of only 85 hp which will clearly be very scarce if its load possibilities are taken advantage of. In a top step will be the 1.0 TSI of 115 hp that had already been a few months for sale in the model still on sale.
The 1.0 TSI 115 hp can be chosen with both six-speed manual gearbox and dual-clutch sequential and seven ratios. Just above it would be the 1.4 TSI of 150 hp with selective disconnection of the cylinders, compatible with the same boxes as the smaller one.
Those who want more benefits can choose the 1.8 TSI 180 hp with manual or DSG (with seven ratios) and even with all-wheel drive (always linked to the DSG six-speed).
As we pointed out yesterday, the TSI 2.0 now develops 230 hp in the RS finish while its diesel variant is offered with the 2.0 TDI of 184 hp, both with manual gearbox and with the DSG. Only diesel can have full traction.
The diesel offer will also count as access with the 1.6 TDI in two variants, 90 and 115 hp. Both go with a five-speed manual gearbox, leaving the DSG from seven for the most powerful. Above would be the 2.0 TDI of 150 hp with manual or DSG change, and front or full-wheel drive. The 184 hp TDI will also be offered in combination with the L & K finish.
What is not confirmed by now is the specific equipment of each version for the Spanish market and, of course, the prices, although we do not believe that they will suffer too many modifications on the rise. We'll tell you more in a few weeks.
Additionally, if you need to purchase some car gadgets, you can search via Banggood website, which is one of the wholesale platform to provide affordable prices, such as Autobot camera, Tekcam F60R, etc.
