A few months ago we commented that Volkswagen would build 400 units of the Golf GTI Clubsport S. With 228 kilowatts / 310 hp, the GTI Clubsport S is the most powerful production version of Golf produced to date. This super GTI borrows the genes of the 243 kW / 330 hp engine from the Golf GTI TCR, which is the racing version used by Volkswagen Motorsport.
Under the hood awaits a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with direct injection capable of delivering a horsepower of 310 horsepower and 380 Nm of torque between 1,700 and 5,300 rpm thanks to modifications to the turbocharger, injection and Exhaust, being 45 HP more powerful than the Golf GTI Clubsport S which in turn is 45 hp more powerful than the normal Golf GTI.
As you can see, the Volkswagen Golf GTI Clubsport S is already the fastest front-wheel drive vehicle on the Nürburgring, and the guys at B & B Automobiltechnik are now offering a package of upgrades that impact on power increase, torque increase and A peak speed increase.
For 12,950 euros the preparer includes a modified intake system, a new radiator, a fuel pump with more capacity, new injectors and a new exhaust system that reduces the return pressure, a body kit, a suspension kit that reduces 30 mm height to the ground, new shock absorbers, new front brake discs with 370 mm and new 19-inch wheels.
Thanks to the improvements the Golf GTI Clubsport S makes the model increase its power up to 353 kW -473 hp and its torque up to 620 Nm. Thanks to this increase B & B Automobiltechnik announces a sprint from 0 to 100 km / h in 4.5 seconds, 0 to 200 km / h in 12.8 seconds and a top speed of 285 km / h.
